Story details

Kingfisher Metals said on 21 October it completed its 2026 program at the HWY 37 project in British Columbia’s Golden Triangle: a total of 13,551 metres, including 24 new holes, an extension of an earlier hole and a hole lost at 26 metres. The campaign tested the Hank copper-gold porphyry target, the Upper Hank gold system and early-stage targets. All nine Hank porphyry holes intersected the porphyry system or its alteration halo; two deep holes showed long downhole intervals of quartz-chalcopyrite-pyrite stockwork veins.

The company emphasized that the descriptions are visual core observations and assays were pending for all 2026 holes except a previously reported partial result. It is planning an approximately 20,000-metre program for 2027. The visible sulphides and alteration do not establish metal grades, and downhole lengths are not true widths; assay results are needed to test the geological interpretation.
