Story details

GoldInxs Mining said on 20 October it had begun its first drill program at the Fishpot project in central British Columbia. The company is testing priority targets developed from a 53.4-line-kilometre 3D induced-polarization survey, alongside magnetic data, geochemical sampling, geological mapping and other geophysical work.

At the Lightening Zone target, IP resistivity and chargeability anomalies overlap beneath a surface silica-alteration area the company describes as 2 kilometres by 500 metres. The program is investigating epithermal gold-silver and porphyry-style copper-gold possibilities. No drill results have been announced; these target descriptions are exploration interpretations, not a discovery or an economic resource.
