Story details

Jordan’s Ministry of Justice said courts held 12,300 remote trial sessions during September and archived about 3.7 million judicial documents, in statistics released on October 8. The ministry also recorded 28,400 notary service transactions, of which 10,600 were completed remotely.

The September figures included 8,988 remote notary video consultations and 1,639 electronic legal notices. They are monthly counts of ministry activity and digital-service use; the number of trial sessions is not the same as the number of distinct cases or people.
