Story details

USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service in Utah has begun accepting applications for fiscal year 2027 assistance from farmers, ranchers and private forest landowners. The deadline is November 13, 2026. The notice lists the Environmental Quality Incentives Program, Conservation Stewardship Program, Agricultural Management Assistance and Agricultural Conservation Easement Program.

NRCS says it will rank applications by receipt date and locally identified resource concerns; applications arriving after November 13 will be considered in later funding cycles. The agency reported providing more than $57 million to Utah producers through AMA, CSP and EQIP in fiscal 2026. That past amount is not a 2027 appropriation or guarantee.
