Emilia-Romagna said on 21 October it had approved the rankings under rural-development measure SRG01 and would provide more than €11 million for 35 projects developed by EIP-Agri operational groups. The groups bring together farmers, livestock businesses, companies, researchers and public bodies to develop collaborative projects.

The three funding areas are business competitiveness and market access, environmental sustainability and biodiversity, and climate mitigation and adaptation. Examples cited include digital and smart-farming tools for industrial tomato and basil chains, predictive models for differentiated post-harvest fruit management, and a sustainable regional hemp-fibre supply chain for textiles.
