Story details

Türkiye’s Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry said on 7 September 2026 that it had paid TL844.5 million in grants to producers and investors under IPARD III during August. The payments were divided among four activity areas: TL372.227m for physical investments in processing and marketing agricultural and fishery products; TL352.355m for physical assets of agricultural holdings; TL93.733m for farm diversification and business development; and TL26.207m for implementing the LEADER approach and local development strategies. The components total TL844.522m, which the ministry rounded to TL844.5m.

The announcement covers grants reported as paid during August 2026. It does not state total project budgets, the number of recipients, distribution by province or completion status. The ministry’s categories show that the support covered more than primary production, including processing and marketing infrastructure, farm assets, diversification and locally led development. Grant payments do not represent the full cost of an investment, and the source gives no project-level cost or co-financing rate. The figures should therefore be read as the ministry’s reported disbursement for the month, not as the total economic value of completed investments.
