TNB and Port of Tanjung Pelepas agree monthly 16 GWh green power subscription
Malaysia’s power utility TNB said Port of Tanjung Pelepas has subscribed to 16 GWh a month of certified renewable electricity through the Green Electricity Tariff. The company described it as the largest subscription by a Malaysian port.
Under the agreement announced by TNB on 19 October, port operator PTP subscribed to 16,000 green electricity blocks. The arrangement covers 16 GWh of certified green energy per month from May 2026 through December 2027. TNB said it enables PTP to transition its electricity supply to 100% renewable energy.
TNB’s Green Electricity Tariff lets customers match their premises’ electricity with certified renewable power and receive an annual Malaysia Renewable Energy Certificate; subscribers pay the regular base tariff plus a tiered green premium. The announcement reports the subscription, not measured emissions reductions or the port’s actual electricity consumption.
Iberdrola España said it has installed more than 85,000 private charging points and over 12,000 public ones, taking its total above 97,000. The company says it accounts for one in five chargers installed in Spain.
The UAE Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure said on 20 October that a delegation led by Sharif Al Olama completed a five-day working visit to China. Mubadala, the Abu Dhabi Investment Office and AD Ports Group were represented.

Measurement and privacy details
Google Analytics measurement starts only if you allow it. After consent, automatic measurement may cover scrolls, outbound link clicks, downloads, video engagement, site searches and basic form interactions; search terms may be detected from URL parameters. This site’s own code does not send form field values; email redaction in automatic measurement is best-effort, not guaranteed. Our manual page-view event uses a cleaned URL. You can change your choice later. Visits that begin with consent may also send numeric LCP, INP and CLS performance measurements after Analytics loads. A first or later grant starts this on the next page load; withdrawing consent stops these performance reports for this page. The preference cookie lasts six months; advertising measurement and personalization stay off.
