Story details

UNDP’s September 27 report says two trucks, each carrying 15 metric tonnes of medical supplies, reached Sudan’s Kadugli and Dilling in July. Medicines and essential consumables are expected to support the needs of a population of about 568,000; this is not a count of patients treated.

Another 420 kilograms of tuberculosis and HIV medicines and diagnostic kits reached the Nuba Mountains. UNDP describes five months of stock support for continuity of HIV and tuberculosis treatment in Kadugli and Dilling. The announcement documents earlier deliveries and supply coverage, without measuring clinical outcomes.
