Environment, Water and Agriculture Minister Abdulrahman Alfadley opened the 43rd Saudi Agriculture Exhibition at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center on 19 October. Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported that the event runs through 22 October under the theme “An integrated agricultural system for a sustainable future.” Government bodies, domestic and international companies, investors and industry specialists are taking part.

Exhibition areas cover agriculture and organic food, poultry, livestock, animal feed and health, aquaculture, food processing and packaging. The parallel Saudi International Conference on the Future of Agriculture is addressing agricultural technology, food security, climate, biotechnology, soil science, project finance and water management. SPA said agreements and memoranda were signed at the exhibition, but its report did not identify the parties or disclose their financial value.
