Story details

Rostec’s KRET concern displayed its portable TGDc-01 PRA tonometer and an air decontamination unit for healthcare facilities at INNOPROM India in New Delhi on September 11. The company says the tonometer measures intraocular pressure through an eyelid without touching the cornea, takes seconds and requires no anaesthesia.

The second device is designed for hospital wards and treatment rooms. KRET says it deactivates bacteria and viruses through photocatalysis and uses neither chemicals nor replaceable filters. The company described both products as mass-produced; the release reports a trade-fair display and does not announce sales in India or clinical outcomes.
