Aker BP sets new executive team and operating model
The Norwegian oil and gas company announced a management structure due to start on 1 January 2027, with the new operating model to be developed through year-end.
Aker BP announced a new executive management team on 2 October, organised around its value chain from exploration to production. The new structure, effective from 1 January 2027, assigns leadership responsibilities for Find & Develop, Build, Produce, Optimise and PDO Projects.
The company says it will develop the model through year-end, aiming to mature projects faster and reduce organizational complexity. The announcement describes a plan and management change; it does not report realized production capacity or cost savings.
