Story details
The Jordan Tourism Board (JTB) signed a cooperation agreement with VFS Global to attract more visitors from Gulf Cooperation Council countries. Jordan News Agency Petra reported on October 8 that the signing took place alongside a workshop attended by travel agencies and other tourism-sector representatives. JTB said the partnership is intended to use VFS Global’s regional and international network to support marketing in target markets.
Workshop discussions covered joint promotional campaigns, travel packages tailored to Gulf visitors and cooperation between tourism companies and institutions. The VFS Global delegation also visited tourism sites in Jordan and met Royal Jordanian and private-sector representatives to discuss possible products and programmes. The announcement outlines a marketing partnership but gives no visitor target, budget, launch schedule or expected revenue.
