Story details

The Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship launched Discover Digital Jordan 2026 on 6 September through its Jordan Source program. The event ran through 9 September across Amman, Aqaba and Petra and brought 15 executives, investors and business leaders from technology, AI, cybersecurity, software and semiconductors.

Petra reported that the agenda included visits to local firms in Amman’s Abdali district, panels on outsourcing and the emerging semiconductor ecosystem, and business meetings. The ministry said Jordanian universities graduate more than 45,000 students a year, 22% in information and communications technology, with women accounting for 51% of that group. The announcement describes a showcase and business-linkage program; it does not report signed investment deals.
