Kekkilä-BVB and Egyptian agritech company Agriventure discussed a proposed factory in the Suez Canal Economic Zone to produce alternative growing media for precision farming.

The proposed plant was presented as a way to reduce dependence on imported inputs and lower production costs in modern agriculture. The parties disclosed no investment amount, capacity or timetable and made no final construction decision; the project remains under discussion.
