Story details
The ministry said the training-of-trainers session ran from 3 to 5 October at Venus Village in Bibwa. Its aim was to prepare teams in agricultural inspection services to register farmers and manage the resulting data. Training covered the KoboCollect and IDEA mobile data tools, completing registration forms and synchronising information to a server. The work followed the launch of the 2026–27 agricultural campaign at Nkuadi in Kasaï Oriental on 2 October.
The session was supported through the National Agricultural Development Programme with World Bank financing. The ministry said trained participants would later pass their skills to field teams for the National Farmers Register across 26 provinces and 145 territories. The release gives no number of farmers registered, completed field registration or production outcome; the reported step is preparation of data-collection capacity.
