Adif tenders track and electrification works for Astigarraga station
The tender exceeds €2.3 million and covers infrastructure for the planned C1 commuter station in Gipuzkoa. A future high-speed connection is envisaged.
Spain’s rail infrastructure manager Adif tendered track and electrification works for the new Astigarraga station on 21 October, with a budget above €2.3 million. The planned station will serve the C1 commuter line in Gipuzkoa.
The Basque government is developing the passenger building and platforms, while Adif is responsible for track superstructure. Adif said the layout anticipates a possible future connection with the Bilbao–Vitoria/Gasteiz–San Sebastián high-speed line; the tender does not mean construction is complete.
Madinah Buses revised schedules across 16 routes to reduce waits; services connect neighborhoods with the high-speed rail station, the Prophet’s Mosque and the airport.

Measurement and privacy details
Google Analytics measurement starts only if you allow it. After consent, automatic measurement may cover scrolls, outbound link clicks, downloads, video engagement, site searches and basic form interactions; search terms may be detected from URL parameters. This site’s own code does not send form field values; email redaction in automatic measurement is best-effort, not guaranteed. Our manual page-view event uses a cleaned URL. You can change your choice later. Visits that begin with consent may also send numeric LCP, INP and CLS performance measurements after Analytics loads. A first or later grant starts this on the next page load; withdrawing consent stops these performance reports for this page. The preference cookie lasts six months; advertising measurement and personalization stay off.
