Private capital mobilized rose from $35 billion in FY2022 to $112 billion in FY2026, while guarantees exceeded $25 billion.
The World Bank Group said it mobilized $112 billion in private capital for developing economies in fiscal 2026. With its own financing, total financing and mobilization exceeded $200 billion.
Mobilization in Africa increased from about $9 billion in FY2022 to $22 billion in FY2026. The Group issued more than $25 billion in guarantees, surpassing its $20 billion annual target for 2030 four years early.
