Story details
Williams said on September 3 that it had closed its acquisition of Momentum Midstream, valuing the transaction at approximately $5.5 billion. Momentum’s natural gas infrastructure in Haynesville joins Williams’s network serving LNG, power generation and industrial demand along the U.S. Gulf Coast.
Williams first announced the planned acquisition alongside its August second-quarter results; the September release confirmed the closing. It did not give a detailed operational integration timetable. The transaction expands the company’s gas transportation and processing infrastructure.
