Story details
Spain’s agriculture ministry announced a second €2.4 million installment of fishing-fleet diesel aid on 19 October. It covers 424 vessels, with €1.74 million for vessels operating in international waters and €680,000 for those in national and EU waters.
The installment follows €3.2 million paid in August. The ministry said total aid for fuel used from 22 March to 30 April now stands at €5.6 million for 4,459 vessels owned by 4,152 operators. May–June fuel support is a separate tranche.
At an October 4 meeting, the government discussed preventing fees absent from the budget law and stopping unlawful charges on fuel and essential goods.

Measurement and privacy details
Google Analytics measurement starts only if you allow it. After consent, automatic measurement may cover scrolls, outbound link clicks, downloads, video engagement, site searches and basic form interactions; search terms may be detected from URL parameters. This site’s own code does not send form field values; email redaction in automatic measurement is best-effort, not guaranteed. Our manual page-view event uses a cleaned URL. You can change your choice later. Visits that begin with consent may also send numeric LCP, INP and CLS performance measurements after Analytics loads. A first or later grant starts this on the next page load; withdrawing consent stops these performance reports for this page. The preference cookie lasts six months; advertising measurement and personalization stay off.
Your browser is sending a Global Privacy Control signal. Analytics is off by default; you may explicitly change this choice here.
