Story details

Rostec’s United Engine Corporation (ODK) said in a September 11 release that it would present at TNF-2026 a model of an 8 MW modular gas-turbine power centre for data centres and other digital infrastructure. Additional units can be added as demand grows, and the company says cogeneration and combined-cycle configurations can use exhaust heat to generate more electricity. ODK says its existing local gas-turbine solutions can provide 6–32 MW with efficiency above 32%.

ODK also plans to show the E70/8RD marine gas turbine, developed for offshore oil and gas platforms, ship generators and floating power plants. The engine is designed to switch automatically between natural gas and liquid fuel without stopping and to operate in harsh Arctic and marine conditions. First units of the 8 MW GTA-8R marine power package based on E70/8RD are planned for 2027. The release describes planned or developing systems, not commissioned facilities.
