Story details

Rostec held a September session on automation and robotization at the State University of Management. The corporation said discussions focused on facilities where robots and digital systems handle key processes from assembly to quality control. The event was supported by Rostec’s RT-Techpriemka unit and Russia’s science and industry ministries.

The announcement cited two targets for 2030: 145 industrial robots per 10,000 workers and 95% technological independence in production equipment. These are forward-looking national-project targets, not measurements of current performance. Rostec said some KAMAZ sites already exceed the targeted robot density but did not provide a current national rate.
