Story details

Pakistan’s 2 September official announcement says Pak EXIM signed a reinsurance agreement with the Islamic Corporation for the Insurance of Investment and Export Credit (ICIEC). The arrangement creates a framework for sharing export-credit insurance risk and supporting Pakistani exporters’ international transactions.

A separate agreement with the Export Development Fund establishes an SME Risk Pool of about PKR3 billion. The agreements build insurance and risk-mitigation capacity; the announcement does not report a payment to a specific exporter or a loan disbursement.
