Veidekke has signed a contract worth approximately NOK 103 million with Vestland County Council to upgrade and expand the Hatvik and Venjaneset ferry terminals. The work includes new ramps, extended auxiliary quays, foundations, land reclamation, abutments and technical installations.
Most construction is planned while ferry services remain in normal operation, with two planned closure periods. Work is due to start immediately and finish by 1 November 2027; the contract will enter Veidekke’s fourth-quarter 2026 order backlog.
The software testing company says it will present services combining human review with model scoring at the 26–27 October event in Dubai. Its announcement provides no independent performance results for the services.
