Story details

NNPC Retail commissioned its first smart self-service station on Bill Clinton Drive in Abuja on 10 September. The Nigeria Immigration Service provided the land for the project. Customers can buy fuel and pay at any time through the station’s 24-hour self-service system.

The company says the facility has 16 petrol pumps and two diesel pumps, with storage capacity of 180,000 litres and 5,000 litres respectively. It also offers EV charging, LPG, a lubricant service bay and an automated car wash. NNPC Retail said it plans to expand the model nationally; the release does not say other stations have opened.
