Story details

Foremost Clean Energy announced an agreement with Denison Mines to sell a 31% interest in each of the GR and Blackwing uranium exploration properties and form two joint ventures. The 22 October release says Foremost would retain 20% in each property after closing, with Denison responsible for 80% of future joint-venture expenditure.

GR comprises 16 mineral claims covering 78,585 hectares and Blackwing three claims covering 12,627 hectares in the Athabasca Basin region of Saskatchewan. Denison would conduct geophysical studies or make deficiency payments to maintain the properties until at least 4 January 2028. Expected survey work is intended to identify drilling targets; it is not a mineral resource estimate.

The transaction also provides for 1,031,191 five-year share purchase warrants to be issued on closing. Foremost would later choose whether to fund its share of initial spending or accept dilution under the joint-venture terms. Closing is expected around 2 November 2026, subject to regulatory, exchange and other conditions. The announcement therefore describes an agreed transaction and exploration plan rather than completed transfers or confirmed mine development.
