NNPC Limited reported ₦7.2 trillion in audited after-tax profit and its highest average hydrocarbon output in five years for 2025.
In audited results released on 29 September, the company said profit after tax rose to ₦7.2 trillion from ₦5.4 trillion in 2024. The company also reported revenue of ₦34.5 trillion and EBITDA of ₦18 trillion, up 22%.
NNPC reported average crude and condensate output of 1.77 million barrels per day and gas output of 7.2 billion standard cubic feet per day. Its goals of 2 million barrels per day by 2027 and 3 million by 2030 are future targets, not achieved production.
