The UAE Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT) said on 19 October that it had concluded its participation in the China International Industry Fair in Shanghai. The meetings focused on exchanging expertise with Chinese technology providers and exploring advanced manufacturing applications for UAE industry.

According to the ministry, the delegation held business discussions with HIKROBOT, ESTUN, HollySys, Inovance, ABB Robotics and Mech-Mind Robotics, including potential pilot projects in UAE factories and assembly, maintenance and distribution services. Visits to COMAC and SAIC Motor covered aviation supply chains, electric-vehicle assembly and smart manufacturing. The announcement did not disclose binding contracts or investment amounts.
