Story details

Kazakhstan’s Prime Minister’s Office reported on 1 October that 20 companies from the country presented products at the INNOPROM Belarus industrial exhibition in Minsk. The event brought together representatives of about 40 countries, while the Kazakh national display covered machinery, digitalization, mining and metallurgy, chemicals and light industry. Deputy Minister of Industry and Construction Olzhas Saparbekov pointed to the export potential of the new industrial developments on show. Participation was presented as a way for companies to demonstrate products and production capabilities and seek partners; the report does not say that exhibition attendance itself produced sales contracts or completed exports.

Railway products included domestically made wheelsets and a newly developed S-shaped wheel disc used in wagon construction. The ministry official said the disc was designed for the 1,520-millimetre track gauge and had a longer service life than comparable products in use. DS Multimedia CA was described as the producer of nearly half of the televisions made in Kazakhstan. Over five years, it produced more than 250,000 sets with a total value of about KZT 10 billion. During the past year it doubled daily capacity from 600–700 to 1,200–1,300 units. Its televisions are currently supplied to Russia, and the company is considering entry into Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and other markets.

Almaty Turmystyq Tehnika Zayyty makes kitchen stoves, ovens, hobs and range hoods. It produced 30,000 appliances in 2024 and 55,000 in 2025, and planned to reach 100,000–110,000 units by the end of 2026. The company cited its own stamping, painting, enameling and foam-packaging operations and said it plans to begin refrigerator and freezer production in 2028. Maker LLP presented its CNS-180 horizontal centrifugal pump, developed for moving water and abrasive mixtures in mines. The company said the device can pump up to 180 cubic metres an hour and is intended for highly abrasive operating environments. It wants to expand pump production and begin overseas deliveries.

The exhibition report also covered technology and metals. KSP Steel was described as having capacity for up to 300,000 tonnes a year; it had signed contracts worth more than USD 93 million with the United States in one year, and 4,500 tonnes of pipe had already been shipped. Its products also go to Canada, Egypt, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan. The company plans to add pipes with premium threaded connections and internal anti-corrosion coatings. Qazaq Investment Company was preparing a full-cycle surface-mount technology line to make servers, motherboards and storage drives in Kazakhstan. TrustExam.ai’s remote certification system was also being used for industrial safety examinations. The source said about 100 Gazprom Neft employees completed certification over three to four months under a five-year contract.
