Story details

The Jordan Strategy Forum reported that its investor confidence index rose 21.9% year on year to 186.6 in the second quarter of 2026, from 153.1. Its economic activity sub-index increased to 200 from 114.7, a 74.3% rise, according to Petra’s account of the release.

The index is a historical measure for the quarter, not a live market reading. Petra also reported 3% real GDP growth and an improvement in the budget deficit comparison; these separate indicators accompanied the confidence release and do not establish that the index itself predicts future investment.
