Story details

Dukhan Bank reported net profit of QAR1.19 billion for the nine-month period ended 30 September 2026. The rounded figure in its 7 October results announcement compares with about QAR1.191 billion in the same period a year earlier, an increase of 0.1%. The bank’s table, reported in millions of QAR, lists net profit at QAR1,192.4 million for 2026 and QAR1,191.6 million for 2025. Earnings per share were QAR0.215 in both periods. The reporting window covers the first nine months of the calendar year and is not a full-year result.

The bank said net income from banking activities reached QAR2.26 billion in the first nine months of 2026, compared with QAR2.13 billion in the corresponding period of 2025. It attributed the small rise in net profit to a 6% increase in this income measure. The release also reported total assets of QAR126.8 billion at period end, up 2.4% from the end of December 2025. Financing assets stood at QAR94.0 billion and total deposits at QAR90.0 billion. These are balance-sheet stocks and should be kept distinct from income earned over the nine-month period.

Dukhan Bank also reported a capital adequacy ratio of 19.1% and total equity of QAR15.9 billion. These are consolidated interim figures released by the bank. The slight difference between rounded and more precise presentations of net profit matters: QAR1.192 billion compared with QAR1.191 billion is a difference of roughly QAR1 million, while the stated 0.1% change is rounded. The source calls the QAR2.26 billion amount net income from banking activities; it should not be relabelled as total revenue or interest income.

Taken together, the published indicators show almost unchanged net profit alongside faster growth in the specified net banking-income measure. Those two figures alone do not explain the contributions of expenses, impairment charges, taxes or other income to the final result. The balance-sheet figures in the release also do not provide a detailed assessment of asset quality or liquidity. This report therefore records the company’s stated performance measures and comparison base; it makes no forecast about future earnings, dividends or share returns. The bank’s interim statements are available through its investor-relations site.
