Story details

Vizsla Copper said on September 23 it had added the Miller copper-gold porphyry project in central British Columbia through staking mineral claims. The company described the 25,274-hectare property as road-accessible, close to existing infrastructure and contiguous with Centerra Gold’s producing Mount Milligan mine. According to the release, Vizsla acquired the mineral tenures by staking and holds the project free of royalties.

The company plans an airborne MobileMT geophysical survey across the property, covering 1,667 line-kilometres, to examine subsurface conductivity and resistivity and refine known alteration areas and possible new targets. Miller remains an early-stage exploration property; the announcement did not report a verified mineral resource or reserve. Vizsla said it expects further soil and rock geochemical work in 2027 after the survey helps rank targets.
