Story details

1911 Gold reported progress on underground development and surface infrastructure at its True North gold project in southeastern Manitoba on September 16. The company said crews and specialized equipment from SCR Mining & Tunnelling had mobilized to the site, dewatering was complete at the A shaft and Level 26, and the ore-pass chute linking Levels 16 and 26 was operational.

The primary ball mill and a new freshwater system were commissioned, while the on-site assay laboratory was ready to process samples. The company described these steps as preparation for test mining this fall and a production decision planned for 2027. The update also covered construction of a new crusher building and ventilation work underground. These are operating milestones reported by the project owner; the release did not say commercial production had begun.
