Story details

Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Energy said on September 18 that final versions of 22 draft standards were presented at a meeting of the Technical Committee on Standardization of Electric Power Engineering and Renewable Energy. The drafts cover electricity storage systems, air-conditioning equipment, heat exchangers, lamp control gear, uninterruptible power supplies and instrument transformers, among other fields.

The committee said the drafts were prepared in line with international standards. Members discussed their content, revisions and comments from relevant institutions, then agreed to submit the drafts to the Azerbaijan Standardization Institute for adoption. The decision advances the proposals but does not mean that the standards have already been formally adopted.
