Story details

Azerbaijan’s industrial output was worth 51.2 billion manats at current prices in January–September 2026 and fell 0.8% in real terms from a year earlier, according to figures published by the State Statistical Committee on 13 October. Manufacturing output and industrial services totalled 16,982.9 million manats, with real growth of 3.4% in that subsector.

Within manufacturing, production of motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers increased 76.8%; pharmaceutical products rose 60.4%; and textiles grew 47.6%. Electrical equipment was up 8.0% and food products 6.4%. Subsector growth can coexist with an overall industrial decline because the total covers a wider range of activities. The Committee’s release does not attribute the increases to specific causes or quantify each group’s contribution to the total.
