Information and communication enterprises in Azerbaijan provided services worth 2,748.1 million manats in January-August 2026, a 10.7% real increase from a year earlier, the State Statistical Committee reported on September 11. Mobile telephone services accounted for 868.0 million manats, or 31.6% of the total, while internet services accounted for 455.0 million manats, or 16.6%.

Software development and related consultancy reached 435.0 million manats, information services 318.0 million, and other information and communication services 672.1 million. Real year-on-year growth was 39.4% for software and consultancy, 21.3% for internet, 13.4% for information services, 2.4% for mobile telephone services and 4.6% for other services. These rates compare growth across service categories; the release provides no additional user, pricing or investment data that would establish the causes of the increase.
