Story details
DIFC announced on 9 September that Allianz Trade Middle East Limited had opened a new regional office in Dubai. The company relocated to DIFC Square and is registered there as a private company regulated by the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA). Its licensed activities include insurance management; the company provides trade credit insurance and reinsurance services to regional clients.
DIFC said the new office covers about 5,200 square feet and that the company has more than 70 employees across the Gulf. The employee figure refers to the wider regional operation, not necessarily the Dubai office. The company also works with designated fronting partners in local markets. The announcement describes an expansion but provides no measured results for revenue, policy volumes or jobs created by the office.
