Story details

The Abu Dhabi Investment Office, Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Abu Dhabi Global Market held investment and business-expansion engagements in London from 13 to 15 October. The 15 October Abu Dhabi Investment Forum covered financial services, advanced technology and manufacturing, healthcare, mobility, agrifood, energy, logistics and trade. The Chamber and Family Business Council facilitated 56 targeted business meetings, while the Chamber’s Global Executive Connect programme connected Abu Dhabi companies with senior representatives across 44 British and international businesses and institutions.

Abu Dhabi Customs’ blockchain-based TradeChain platform received the Border Innovation Award at the 2026 International Trade Awards. WAM said the platform supports secure information exchange and proactive processing in customs. Officials said they would follow up on commercial and investment opportunities identified during the engagements; the announcement did not report newly signed investment agreements or completed capital flows. The meeting counts therefore document business-development activity, not a confirmed investment value.
