Story details

Nine Mile Metals reported on 21 October assays from hole WD-26-18 at its Wedge volcanogenic massive sulphide project in New Brunswick. The hole intersected a massive sulphide lens from 130.7 to 142.35 metres, an 11.65-metre interval grading 7.13% copper equivalent, including 6.70 metres at 9.93%. The company also reported a copper stringer zone grading 0.40% copper equivalent over 31.5 metres above the lens.

The company said the lens contains copper, zinc, lead, silver and gold and that the reported intersections represent true widths. It plans borehole electromagnetic surveying and follow-up drilling to test continuity along strike and at depth. Copper-equivalent values combine metals using the company’s stated assumptions; they are not market value or proof of economic recoverability.
