The Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission said on 13 September that crude oil and condensate production averaged 1,677,777 barrels per day in August, about 0.4% above July. Crude oil alone was reported at 1,500,190 barrels per day.

The commission said crude output met Nigeria’s OPEC quota for a fourth consecutive month. It linked the increase to resolution of an issue at the Erha floating production and storage facility. The figures are the regulator’s measurements for August.
