Mohammed Bin Rashid Library sets out its October cultural programme
Dubai’s Mohammed Bin Rashid Library announced a month-long cultural and knowledge programme for October, including audiovisual translation, Emirati literature, poetry and Andalusian manuscripts.
The programme opens with a panel for International Translation Day on the relationship between words and images and the translator’s role. The library will also present Andalusian manuscripts and host an evening of Muwashahat performed by the Arab Choir.
The library said it will participate for the first time in AccessAbilities Expo at Dubai World Trade Centre from 19 to 21 October, where it will showcase services and initiatives supporting people of determination.
Organisers selected the Central African Cultural Centre and the Limete Exchangeur esplanade for the festival’s second edition, which was scheduled to open on 8 October.
Dubai Calendar, the emirate’s official events platform, announced a programme of concerts, comedy and sports for October. The schedule includes Dubai Comedy Festival, running citywide from 9 to 18 October, and several live music performances.

Measurement and privacy details
Google Analytics measurement starts only if you allow it. After consent, automatic measurement may cover scrolls, outbound link clicks, downloads, video engagement, site searches and basic form interactions; search terms may be detected from URL parameters. This site’s own code does not send form field values; email redaction in automatic measurement is best-effort, not guaranteed. Our manual page-view event uses a cleaned URL. You can change your choice later. Visits that begin with consent may also send numeric LCP, INP and CLS performance measurements after Analytics loads. A first or later grant starts this on the next page load; withdrawing consent stops these performance reports for this page. The preference cookie lasts six months; advertising measurement and personalization stay off.
Your browser is sending a Global Privacy Control signal. Analytics is off by default; you may explicitly change this choice here.
