Story details

Kuwait’s Capital Markets Authority (CMA) said on 1 October that it would participate in World Investor Week for the sixth consecutive year, with the international campaign scheduled for 5–11 October 2026. The regulator also announced awareness activities throughout October on investor resilience, digital deception and financial fraud. It included AI-generated fake content and deepfakes among the examples of digital deception.

The CMA describes an information campaign intended to help investors assess claims they encounter online. Its notice does not announce a new regulation or enforcement action, report a count of fraud cases, or measure campaign results. Planned communications should not be presented as a proven outcome; the topic is investor awareness rather than individualized financial advice.
