Story details

Jordan’s Private Cable Manufacturing Company (PCIC), represented by founder Afaneh Nimer Afaneh, announced an ownership and investment partnership with Ziad Al-Manaseer and the Al-Manaseer Group. The October 22 statement, carried by Roya News, described the partnership as a move to develop electrical-cable manufacturing capacity and expand local production in Jordan. It did not disclose the partners’ ownership shares, the legal structure of the arrangement or how any investment would be divided between them.

According to PCIC’s statement, a factory in the Al-Qastal area near a railway junction is scheduled to open in early November 2026. The company described the site as covering 6,000 square metres and gave the factory’s total investment value as JOD 10 million. That figure refers to the overall factory investment in the statement; it was not identified as a contribution made solely by the Manaseer Group. The opening date, capacity and investment information are plans and company claims in the announcement, rather than confirmation that the facility has opened or the investment has been completed.

PCIC said the facility is designed for monthly capacity of 450 tonnes and will contain 13 production lines. The planned product range includes plain and armoured cables, fire and power cables, electrical wires, flexible cables and mining cables. The company said these products are intended for construction, industrial, infrastructure and energy projects. The monthly figure is a stated production capacity, not realised output or order volume. The announcement did not include current sales, orders, revenue or factory utilisation data.

The company said the factory is expected to create more than 100 job opportunities and named Saudi Arabia, Iraq and Syria among neighbouring export markets it intends to target. These are forward-looking company expectations, not confirmed hiring, export contracts or sales. The partners also described goals of improving production capability, regional competitiveness and the ability to serve large projects, but the announcement named no specific customer, project, delivery or contract.

In the statement, PCIC said it holds ISO 9001 certification and the Jordanian Quality Mark issued by the Jordan Standards and Metrology Organization. It also said products undergo regular testing in four laboratories and conformity checks through accredited national and international laboratories. These quality and testing details are attributed to the company; the announcement did not provide certificate scopes, validity dates or laboratory accreditation records. The partnership’s commercial effect will be easier to assess when the factory opening and actual production figures are reported.
