Story details
Peyman Imani, managing director of Iran’s Central Oil Fields Company, said production and storage targets at fields in eastern Iran were achieved in the first half of the Iranian year, according to a Shana report published October 7. Output at the East Oil and Gas Production Company was 1 billion cubic metres above the same period a year earlier.
Imani put production from the Khangiran, Tous, Gonbadli and Shourijeh B fields at 47 million cubic metres a day, alongside a target of 18 million cubic metres a day from storage withdrawals. Together, the production and storage facilities have capacity to deliver 65 million cubic metres of raw gas a day to the Shahid Hasheminejad Gas Refinery. Khangiran Well 97 entered service with capacity of 1.3 million cubic metres a day; drilling at Tous Well 4 is complete, with production expected to begin in mid-autumn after surface facilities are installed. Company figures also showed 1.77 billion cubic metres injected into the Shourijeh D storage reservoir in the first half, or 107% of its approved target.
