Story details
French mining group Eramet confirmed on 12 October that the €500 million rights issue announced in February remains planned for the fourth quarter of 2026. The company described the transaction as a step to strengthen its financial position, maintain compliance with bank covenants and fund its strategy; it also said its two reference shareholders had agreed on their participation terms.
The French State, through the APE agency, will subscribe to its 27.1% pro-rata share and may purchase some or all of Sorame-CEIR’s rights depending on the transaction’s reference price. Eramet said the arrangement is designed to keep APE’s effective voting rights at no more than 49% at a general meeting. The capital increase has not yet been completed.
