Doha Film Festival said on 8 October that it had selected 15 films from four continents for its 2026 international feature competition. The festival’s release says 11 selections received Doha Film Institute grant support, seven were directed by women, 13 are Middle East and North Africa premieres and one is a world premiere. Premiere status is reported by the festival.

The festival is scheduled for 19–27 November 2026. Organizers announced a US$185,000 awards pool across four prizes: US$75,000, US$50,000, US$45,000 and US$15,000. These amounts describe the announced pool, not awards already given to winners. The release lists the selected films and their production countries but provides no ticket-sales figures, attendance target or estimate of economic impact.
