Story details

Core Silver reported geological observations on 19 October from the first four drill holes at its Touleary project in Yukon. The holes totalled 962.6 metres and form part of a Phase One program planned for at least 3,000 metres. The company said copper-bearing sulphides were observed in all four holes, with zinc-bearing sulphides in several intervals. One hole contained a seven-metre interval of semi-massive to massive sulphide textures from 208.5 to 215.5 metres downhole.

Samples had been sent to a laboratory, and assay results for all four holes were still pending. Visual observations do not establish metal grades and may not correlate with assay results; true widths of the 2026 intervals are also undetermined. The company said drilling is testing extensions of historical 2011 results as well as geophysical targets that have not previously been drilled.
