Story details

Brixton Metals reported final assays from two drill holes and initial metallurgical work on 20 October at the Trapper gold target, within its wholly owned Thorn project in northwestern British Columbia. The company said hole THN26-393 intersected 120 metres grading 0.67 grams of gold per tonne, while THN26-394 intersected 138 metres grading 0.80 g/t. The holes were intended to support a maiden resource estimate that Brixton expects in the first quarter of 2027.

Scoping-level testing on one high-grade composite returned 97% gold recovery using combined gravity concentration and rougher flotation. This early laboratory result is not a commercial plant recovery rate. The company says the reported intervals are drill-core lengths and true widths have not yet been determined, so the assays do not establish a mineral resource or economic mineability.
