Story details

Afghanistan’s Ministry of Public Health said on 6 October it signed a six-month memorandum of understanding with Save the Children International for health and nutrition services and child-protection support in Balkh. The ministry valued the agreement at $459,748 and said it targets internally displaced people and host communities.

The planned programme is to serve 56,000 residents through three health facilities and one mobile health team, while creating 52 health-sector job opportunities, according to the ministry. These are the agreement’s stated targets; the notice does not report completed services.
